At Wilderwood Service Dogs, we make a difference in the lives of people with neurological impairments.

We specialize in providing service dogs specifically trained to handle the challenges of Spectrum Disorders and other neurological impairments. Some include:

• Autism
• Aspergers
• Mental Health D/O
• Dementia
• Mild Mental Retardation
• Brain Injury (traumatic or chemical)

Our dogs are a constant helpmate to you or your child... and any other place you may venture.

Also, we:

• Rescue unwanted and homeless puppies and young dogs for our training programs.
• Our teen outreach program for at risk and challenged youths, gets local teens involved with training the service dogs for the disabled. Other community service programs for young people, civic organizations and congregations are available.
• Service Training for Personal Pets

Wilderwood also offers individualized training of service dog tasks for family pets. If you have a limitation that is complicating your life, be it a sore back, arthritis, hard of hearing, poor balance etc., and you own a dog, Wilderwood offers 1:1 training for your pet. Wilderwood will complete an evaluation of both you and your dog then establish a set of skills for the dog that will help you the most. Wilderwood charges $32.00/visit and usually meets with you once a week. If you would like more information concerning this service please email Tiffany at wilderwood@charter.net.

To apply for a service dog, download and complete either our adult or child application. Collect all the required information.  Once we receive your application in the mail and review it, we will contact you regarding your acceptance into the program.  If any questions arise during the application process, please feel free to e-mail us at wilderwood@charter.net.
