Graduate service dog, PuahCongratulations to Puah and Brayden.  Puah will be helping Brayden with her communication and socialization skills.  Brayden had not been able to go shopping for seven years with her mother related to her disorder.  Now however this dynamic duo have been to the stores many times as all mothers and daughters should.

Graduate service dog, LeviLevi is now with his new buddy David.  Levi is helping David with his language/socialization skills as well has with his mood control.  David is entering his teen years and socialite Levi will be right by his side making this team everyone's favorite to be around.

Graduate service dog, NathanCongratulations to Nathan and his little master Elizabeth.  Elizabeth likes to run away from her parents, but since Nathan has been on duty he has successfully done several gentle take downs to keep her from danger.  Nathan is also helping increase her vocabulary and attention to the present situation.  Nathan turned out to be the best warm pressure mat every during Elizabeth ’s emotional struggles.  They’re going to be great friends!

Graduate service dog, OsheaCongratulations to Oshea and his new best friend Austin.  In the short week long graduation Austin ordered food from a restaurant twice, ran and played independently in the parks and was able to attend a very loud BBQ cook off.  Since he has been home, he is praying in church and learning new social skills every day!  We are very proud of them.

2007

Graduate service dog, MilloCongratulations to Brody and his new service dog Millo.  These proud graduates started an amazing life in December, 2007.  Millo will help Brody stay “grounded” and safe.  He will also be a valuable tool in stopping Brody’s stemming behavior and aiding in managing Brody’s anxiety.

Graduate service dog, GoliathOur second 2007 graduate is Goliath.  He is a whopping 90 pound bundle of devotion.  He can not stand to let his little person get out of sight.  Goliath is dedicated to keeping his autistic partner safe and happy.  To the mother’s relief, they are great companions and Goliath is a fully functioning set of second eyes, ears and paws.  Let’s all keep them in your prayers and wish them good luck.

Graduate service dog, CalebCaleb is a 2007 graduate. Caleb is a proud and handsome service dog who is very devoted to his owner. Though Caleb does have a quirky sense of humor he is very dedicated to his tasks. He will be helping his new owner with balance, walking, lights, emergency help, med reminders and retrieves. We are proud of them both and know they will soon be inseparable.

2006

Graduate service dog and ownerHandler Noelle P. and service dog Ben graduated from Wilderwood's service dog handler boot camp on September 16th, 2006. Commencement ceremony was held at Aubrey's in Maryville. Noelle and Ben will be off on many exciting adventures including attending Noelle's classes at Bearden High School. Noelle is a remarkable young lady involved in many community projects. Ben will be there to support her in communication needs, as well as physical activities. So as you see them out and about in town, give them a big smile and thumbs up. A special thanks to Aubrey's for their generous donation and to all who participated in making Noelle's and Wilderwood's dream come true. We are truly blessed to be part of this community.
